Azure Stewart of UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School has been invited to serve as a graduate student member of the Luncheon and Business Meeting Committee of Division D – Measurement and Research Methodology of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). The purpose of the AERA Division D Measurement and Research Methodology is to promote excellence in the design, execution, and dissemination of research on educational measurement, methodology, psychometrics, and interpretive and statistical and mixed methods and applications.
Azure Stewart is a third year doctoral student in the Department of Education, Teaching and Learning emphasis. She is also a fellow of the Center for Literacy & Inquiry in Networking Communities (LINC). Azure has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Digital Media from CSU Sacramento, and a Master of Arts degree in Education-Instructional Technology from San Francisco State University. Her research interest includes exploring the disciplinary demands, literacy practices, and process in the context of the arts (music and music history) and digital spaces.
