Jane Close Conoley of UC Santa Barbara's Gevirtz School to guest on "The Mark McIntire Show," AM 1290, Wednesday, August 17, 2-3 pm

 

Jane Close Conoley, Dean of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at UC Santa Barbara, will be in conversation on “the Mark McIntire Show” Wednesday, August 17 from 2-3 pm. The show is aired on AM 1290 in Santa Barbara and available on the internet at http://www.newspress.com/Top/sbnp_radio/radio.html. Dr. Conoley will be discussing the topic the Psychology of the Educated Mind.

The hour-long program will also be rebroadcast Wednesday, August 17 at 10:06 pm and again on Saturday, August 20 at 4:06 pm (all times PDT).

Dr. Jane Close Conoley has served as Dean of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education since 2006. Conoley is well known for the depth and impact of her research in educational psychology. She is the author or co-author of over 100 books, chapters, and articles on educational and mental health issues, and has been the principal or co-principal investigator of grants with awards totaling over $20 million.
