UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School inaugurates an endowment for the Patty Hopkins-Acos Memorial Scholarship

 

The Gevirtz School at UC Santa Barbara has inaugurated an endowment to start the Patty Hopkins-Acos Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will benefit an outstanding UCSB graduate student who demonstrates a passion for and dedication to serving children with special needs. The goal is to make this an annual award given in honor of Patty Hopkins-Acos whose 30 year career in special education changed the lives of so many children and families in Santa Barbara.
