Abstract:
Drs. Felix and Sharkey are contracted with Lompoc Valley Health Care Organization (LVHCO) to conduct the program evaluation of the “Lompoc on the Move” childhood obesity prevention initiative, funded by the California Wellness Foundation from Spring 2006 through Spring 2009. This is a multi-component, community-based prevention effort designed to promote healthy eating choices and the benefits of physical activity.
