Credential Processing

Steps for matriculated (or almost matriculated) credential students

Now that you have completed (or are about to complete) your credential program, the Credential Services Office in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education is the place that helps you apply for your credential. As the central administrative unit and office of record for students working on their credentials, this office is authorized to recommend candidates to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for their credential. Below you will find a useful PDF that outlines the steps necessary to apply for your specific credential. To further assist you with this process, the following workshops on “How to Apply for the Credential” will be offered.
