Welcome to the Credential Services Office


The Credential Services Office in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education is the central administrative unit and office of record for students enrolled in a Teaching, Specialist, or Services Credential Program. These programs are approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to prepare professional educators. Our office supports the mission of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education to educate scholar practitioners and maintain exemplary programs that serve as models for teaching, research and service.

The Gevirtz School offers the following credential programs:

  • Mutiple Subject
  • Single Subject
  • Moderate/Severe Education Specialist, Level 1 and 2
  • Pupil Personnel Services: School Psychology

    Credential Advisors are available by appointment and on a walk in basis to provide information on the application and admission process, financial aid information, test preparation, credential processing and a variety of education and state certification resources.
