  • Ed 122: Practicum in Field Observation in School Settings (2 Units)
  • Ed 124: Research on Teaching and Learning (4 Units)
  • Ed 166: Practicum in Applied Psychology (2 Units)
  • Ed 176B: Practicum in Individual Differences (4 Units)

  • Ed 103: Technology in Education (3 Units)
  • Ed 109S or SS: Health Education (4 Units)
  • Ed 111: Introduction to Child and Adolescent Development (4 units)
  • Ed 121: Techniques in Field Observation (3 Units)
  • Ed 124: Research on Teaching & Learning in Sociocultural Contexts (4 units, may be taken twice)
  • Ed 164: Introduction to Educational and Vocational Counseling (4 Units)
  • Ed 171A: Psychology of Gender (4 Units)
  • Ed 173: Introduction to Leadership Development (4 Units)
  • Ed 175: Contemporary Special Education (4 Units)
  • Ed 190: Introduction to Autism (4 Units) (Pre-requisites: Psychology 1, minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Ed 191A: Sex and Relationships (4 Units)
  • Ed 191B: Alcohol and Drugs (4 Units)
  • Ed 191C: Healthy Eating and Living (4 Units)
  • Ed 191D: Peer Health Education Internships (3 Units)
  • ED 197: Special Topics in Education and Applied Psychology (2-4 units)(with track advisor approval)
  • Ed 199: Independent Studies (1-5 Units)
  • Ed 199RA: Independent Research Assistance (1-5 Units)

Students are encouraged to enroll in classes early as space is limited.

Substitution Policy:

Community College and other lower division courses may NOT be used as a substitution for any minor course.

You may be able to transfer up to six upper division quarter units from courses you have taken at other colleges or universities if the courses are approved by the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education Track Advisor. Substitution forms are available on the main Minor homepage.
