Campus Resources

Multicultural Center

For over 2 decades the MultiCultural Center (MCC) has been committed to presenting cutting-edge programs, fostering diversity of expression, and providing a public forum/ safe space in the struggle against exclusion and discrimination. We have strived to inspire and stimulate thousands of UCSB students, community members, and local organizations to build relationships across differences.

Diversity, Equity, and Academic Policy

The University of California, Santa Barbara is a leading research institution that also provides a comprehensive liberal arts learning experience. Because teaching and research go hand in hand at UC Santa Barbara, our students are full participants in an educational journey of discovery that stimulates independent thought, critical reasoning, and creativity. Our community of faculty, students, and staff are involved in a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration that is responsive to the needs of our multicultural and global society. Through the creation and distribution of knowledge that advances the well-being of our state, nation, and world, we demonstrate our commitment to public service. Overseeing this work is the Diversity, Equity, and Academic Policy division of UCSB.
