Harding School students react to the Menots and cola experiment

Impact

The Gevirtz Graduate School of Education (GGSE) believes no useful educational research can be conducted in a vacuum. Therefore, we strive to improve education and mental health at UCSB, in our community, state, nation, and around the world.

This section of our website provides information about how we do just that, describing programs like these:

• assisting students on the autism spectrum succeed in college,
• helping to curb gang activity and violence in Santa Barbara county,
• examining solutions to the statewide dropout crisis
• uniting researchers around the Pacific Rim to help aid those who need special education

and many many others, including our ever-growing STEM projects and the work of all our stellar alumni.
