Tania Israel and graduate students present at the national APA Conference

National Impact

One of the major ways the Gevirtz School makes its presence known nationally is via the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the American Psychological Association (APA).  Faculty members are fellows in both organizations, have led or led different divisions, and have received numerous awards for their research and service from AERA and APA. Faculty and students present research at both the AERA and APA annual conventions. Faculty and students are also active in numerous other national organizations including the American Evaluation Association, the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), College Conference on Composition and Communication (CCCC), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the National Council on Measurement in Education, the National Multicultural Conference and Summit, and the School Psychology Research Collaboration Conference.
