Preparing Students for Statewide Language Arts Assessments


You Will Learn:
  • New proven strategies for maximizing integrated writing and reading lessons

  • Ways to approach writing tasks with a deeper understanding of multiple perspectives

  • How to introduce and reinforce the essential understandings that underpin the STAR test

  • How to use writing as a vehicle for learning content area material in a more integrated, thoughtful way

  • Specific information addressing the 7th grade writing test genres as well as the 7th grade portion of the STAR test in language arts
