Spring Renewal 2010 |
Information |
A special and truly final "last" time our SCWriP community gathered at the Cliff House, was for our Spring Renewal on Friday, May 21, 2010, to welcome Tim Dewar, our new Writing Project Director, back home. Tim was our featured guest for the day, and invited us to think, as he did in his reflections, published in the Spring PostSCWriP, about what the Writing Project has meant to each of us. As we begin a new chapter in the story of the South Coast Writing Project, it's important to take time to reflect on what the project has given to us as teachers and writers, and to plan for ways we can insure that it will continue to do that for many years to come. Fellows from a wide range of years came together on a beaufiful sunny day, and with the door of Cliff House open to the sounds of the ocean, wrote, shared, laughed and remembered. It was a great day! |
