A Message from Dr. Christina A. Christie, Site Director, UCEC–UCLA

Educational program evaluation is an instrumental tool for effective policy-shaping and decision-making. The UCLA site of the UCEC promotes the use of carefully conducted evaluation studies designed to improve social conditions. We provide comprehensive, rigorous training in the theory, methods, and practice of evaluation that encourages analytic thoughtfulness regardless of methodological orientation and consideration for the communities that are affected by decisions that result from applied studies. We are honored to participate in the UCEC partnership and look forward to the collaborative opportunities that it brings.
