UCEC–UC Santa Barbara

UCEC–UCSB is located in the new Education Building of the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education. Working closely with the Center Director is Dr. Patricia Marin, associate director, Jane Ready, executive assistant, and a team of Graduate Student Researchers including Mark Grimes, Alma Boutin-Martinez, Nida Rinthapol, and Katy Nilsen.

The Santa Barbara site has two key roles: developing and coordinating the activities of the overall multi-campus UCEC and designing and implementing evaluations for the UCSB and local communities.

A Message from Dr. John T. Yun, Site Director, UCEC–UCSB

Thank you for your interest in our evaluation center. Our UCSB location is active in supporting the evaluation needs of both local and statewide educational programs, policies, and initiatives. We provide myriad services to the university and local communities including (but not limited to):

      • informal discussions regarding program and policy evaluations
      • formal consultations regarding evaluation challenges, design, and implementation
      • conducting evaluations
      • writing evaluation proposals
      • leading evaluation workshops and conferences

I invite you to contact me to explore how UCEC–UCSB can assist you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
