Haley Stock, 2021 TEP ESN, received a “Teachers Who Make a Difference” award, sponsored by the Placer County chapter of the Association for California School Administrators. Haley teaches at West Park High School in Roseville, CA.
Beginning in the 2021-22 school year, Haley worked for three years as an education ppecialist at the transition program for the San Dieguito Union High School District in Encinitas, CA, where she served as department chair for two years. In 2024, she and her husband moved to Northern California to be closer to family, and she began working as a functional skills program teacher for students in grades 9-12 at West Park High School in Roseville, CA. She was appointed co-department chair in spring 2026 (she is department chair for ESN). Haley was selected to create and teach a new transition program class for the 2026-27 school year.
"I feel like UCSB has prepared me for this profession in ways that other programs did not prepare my peers," Haley said. "I am so grateful for my time in TEP and the knowledge and skills I learned from Natalie, Andrew, and the other staff at UCSB."
