In a Crisis:
If you or someone you know is at risk for harm to self or others and you want to talk to a mental health specialist immediately, call one of the crisis numbers listed below.

This crisis and referral service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is operated by Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness. The Crisis Response and Service Access Line provides crisis intervention for adults age 21 and over.
SAFTY

Safe Alternatives for Treatment of Youth (SAFTY) is a 24-hour 7-days- a-week crisis service that specializes in providing immediate response and support for individuals age 21 and younger. The service is operated by Casa Pacifica.

Hosford Clinic Clients:
A receptionist is available to take urgent messages Monday-Thursday, 8am to 7:30pm and Fridays 8am to 5pm. The clinic is closed on most legal and University holidays (this includes two weeks around the Winter Holiday season).
When the Hosford Clinic Is Closed:
If you believe that you are at risk for immediate harm to self or others, call one of the crisis numbers listed above or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

If you are in crisis and want to leave an urgent message for your clinician, call 893-8064 and inform the receptionist that you would like your clinician or a Hosford Clinic Supervisor to call you back right away.
