SCWriP’s primary purpose is to support teachers in professional learning and growth. Email us today to find out how we can engage your staff in meaningful, lasting development tailored to the unique needs and culture of your school or district. Here are some possibilities:

Three Full Day Workshops

Workshops are schedule on teacher release days, spaced approximately six weeks apart, with three presenters. (2 UCSB quarter units available.)

Weekend Workshops

Workshop begins on Friday night with a session from 4:00-8:00pm, including dinner, and continues through a full-day Saturday workshop, 8:30am-2:30pm. (1 unit available.)

Eighteen-Hour Workshop

Workshop presentations scheduled once a month for four months, held after school from 4:00-8:00pm, including a light dinner. (2 units available.)

Twenty-Hour Workshop

Begins with a Saturday morning presentation from 9:00am-1:00pm, followed by four after-school workshops, usually from 3:30-6:30pm, and concluding with a final Saturday morning presentation from 9:00am-1:00pm. (2 units available.)

Workshops with Coaching

In connection with a weekend, or 18-hour workshop, schools may contract for a follow-up coaching program. The coach is a classroom teacher and SCWriP consultant with classroom-based expertise in employing the targeted practices and approaches demonstrated in the workshops. (Credit Available).
