How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Teacher Education Program at UCSB! Before applying, we encourage you to attend an Information Meeting, review our Program Values, or check out our Top 3 Reasons to Apply.

While there are many university, state, and program requirements, applying doesn’t have to be challenging. Complete the four application steps below and review the Application Handbook thoroughly.

Application Steps

1. Complete your application prerequisites

2. Apply online using the UCSB Graduate Division eApp.

3. Attach supporting documents

4. Attend campus interviews

For your convenience, we have created a TEP Credential & Program Requirements Checklist. This checklist will help you keep track of all of your state testing and other requirements that cannot be found on the eApp.
