Ahtziri Rosas is the recipient of the 2018 Martha Aldridge Fellowship. Rosas is in the Multiple Subject Credential program at UCSB’s Teacher Education Program.
Family, friends, and colleagues established the Aldridge Memorial Fund to honor Martha Aldridge, a UCSB staff member from 1961 until her death in 1986. This award is given to a top Gevirtz School graduate to assist with the transition to his/her first teaching position and the beginning of a promising career in elementary education.
