Tanya Mishler

Tanya Mishler, MEd, is an elementary educator for Goleta Union School District and a Continuing Lecturer in the Teacher Education Program.  She collaboratively supports learning of best practices and all aspects of instructional design for teacher candidates in elementary field study placements. A TEP graduate herself, she is an instructional coach to teachers at all levels. 
Tanya’s courses are designed as professional learning labs, modeling research based engagement strategies for teachers to experience as learners and then implement in their elementary classrooms.
Tanya is National Board Certified, holds Administrative Services and Bilingual Cross-Cultural credentials, and was recognized as Goleta’s Teacher of the Year.
