flyer for 2022 Research Festival

The Gevirtz Graduate School of Education is excited to announce that it will hold its third annual Research Symposium on Friday, May 20th from 9 am to 2 pm, and on Saturday, May 21st from 10 am to 2 pm in the Education Building classrooms, with a social event and reception to follow. (Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual version will be made accessible as well.) The theme this year is “Fostering Dynamic Communities for Equity, Accessibility, and Success in Education.” The event is presented by the Graduate Student Association in Education (GSAE).

The symposium will showcase the amazing work, at any stage, happening in the school. This event is open to graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty, and staff from ED, TEP, and CCSP. Work at any stage in the process is welcomed. Consider using this collaborative dialogue as a chance, for example, to practice a presentation for a conference or to receive low-stakes feedback from peers and faculty.

Proposal submissions and conference registration ARE OPEN UNTIL APRIL 8th (latest and final extension). You will be able to register and find all information using the symposium website. The Conference Program and instructions will be posted to the conference website following the close of registration. Please reach out with any questions.

*Looking to get involved in another way? GSAE is looking for help with planning this event. At this time, we are looking to form subcommittees to help with logistics, keynote speakers, and social planning. If you are interested in getting involved, please sign up for a planning committee. We will be sending out a call for discussants and facilitators in February.
