The Department of Education at UC Santa Barbara's Gevirtz School will kick off the new academic year with its 2012 student orientation on Wednesday, September 26 from 3:30-5:30 pm in ED 1213. All newly admitted students are encouraged to attend. Students will have the opportunity to meet the faculty and staff in the Department of Education and join the other new students in their cohort for breakout emphasis sessions. Following this, the Graduate Student Association in Education will be hosting an event starting at 5:30.
Refreshments will be served.
