  • Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment
  • California Technology Assistance Project
  • PAL Tech
  • Science Math Initiative

Serves Pre K – 12 students in Goleta Union, Santa Barbara, Hope and Carpinteria School Districts

Development of Standards-Based Physical Science Activities/Lesson Plans

We developed lesson plans that target specific concepts in the fifth grade physical sciences curriculum, and provide teachers with take-home materials and follow-up support in their classrooms from our UCSB Chemistry and Materials students. The modules generally consist of a series of hands-on experiments for students to try out themselves under the supervision of the teacher.
