Steve Smith, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist (PSY20096), Teaching Professor, and Chair of the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology. He also serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Creative Studies.
His professional interests include the psychology of men and boys, creativity, diversity issues in assessment, and the mental health needs of athletes. He maintains an active private practice.
Dr. Smith earned a BA in psychology from Beloit College, and MA and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas. He completed his internship and postdoc at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital.
