Britt Andreatta

Gevirtz School alumna Britt Andreatta will return to the UC Santa Barbara campus to give the talk “Wired for Growth: The Neuroscience of Learning” on Tuesday, August 29, from 10 am – 12 noon at the Corwin Pavilion. The event, part of the Gaucho Growth Speaker Series, is free and open to the public.

Andreatta’s presentation will identify key findings on the neuroscience of learning and how these principles can enhance instructional design and delivery in education and workplace settings, as well as teach us how to enhance our own learning through simple techniques and strategies.

Dr. Britt Andreatta is an internationally recognized thought leader and speaker on leadership and learning and has formerly worked at UCSB as a lecturer, Director of First-Year Programs & Leadership Development and Assistant Dean of Students, as the former Chief Learning Officer for Lynda.com, and as a Senior Learning Consultant for global leadership and talent development at LinkedIn. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Education in the area of Education, Leadership and Organizations in 1998.
