Mari Estrada and Carola Oliva-Olson
We have posted a new alumni spotlight. We had the opportunity to catch up with two of our alumnae, Mari Estrada and Carola Oliva-Olson, both Ph.D.s from the Department of Education. Both faculty at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI), they were recently awarded a $1.1 million grant from the State of California for their early childhood training project, Dual Language Learning Professional Development for the California Early Childhood Workforce. We talked to them about that grant, their work, and their time at the Gevirtz School.
