Faculty and students from UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School will deliver presentations at the 2015 Conference of the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP), October 15-17 in Riverside, California. The conference theme is “Social and Restorative Justice: Positive Outcomes for All Students.” The UCSB faculty and students will present their scholarship relevant to important topics such as text anxiety and bullying, sharing with scholars and professionals from throughout California and the southwest.
Dr. Jimerson, chair of the Department of Counseling, Clinical and School Psychology at the Gevirtz School says, “These presentations at the CASP conference feature our ongoing scholarship focused on helping to promote the social and cognitive competence of all children in California, with special emphasis on meeting the needs of the incredibly diverse children in California schools.”
