Shane Jimerson, Professor of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology at UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School, will be the featured guest on KCSB-FM’s new public affairs show “Schooled Radio” on Thursday, October 7 from 5:30 – 6 pm. (Note new time and date from last season.) Dr. Jimerson will primarily discuss two exciting new initiatives at the Gevirtz School—Project TEAMS and a terminal M.Ed. in School Psychology.

This episode of “Schooled Radio” kicks off the show’s second season. Co-hosted by Gevirtz School alumna Chryss Yost (Ph.D., Education, ’18) and the Gevirtz School’s Director of Communications George Yatchisin, the weekly program examines how education is everywhere in Santa Barbara County. The program includes interviews with local teachers, students, and administrators on the topic of education in the broadest possible sense, from preschool to grad school. The program also shines a light on the dozens of vibrant non-profit agencies focused on various aspects of education.

Shows can be listened to when they air on KCSB 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara and at kcsb.org. Each week’s program is then archived at schooledradio.com.
